In Six-String™, you can play in 2 different modes: Practice Mode or Studio Mode. You can challenge your friends in both.
Practice Mode lets you get familiar with a song so you can unlock it for Studio mode. Here the pressure is off – it’s just you, jamming along to the song, developing your skills, trying out new things.
Then progress onto Studio Mode, where you can compete, earn points and work your way up the Six-String™ high-score rankings.
Compete against your friends to earn a top ranking and bragging rights. Or compete to be the best Six-String™ player overall, the best in your region or the best at a playing a specific song. Keep your rank high to compete for occasional prize offerings!
In Six-String™, you can play each track at three different levels of difficulty. You can also choose to adjust the sound to hear only your guitar or your guitar against the full master recording.
Easily join the free, thriving Six-String™ social community ('Plus+ Network’) to add more excitement and competition to the game. Post score updates via Facebook and Twitter. Find and add new friends to your buddy list and compete with them even if they are across the country. Send ‘smack talk’ if you win or lose a challenge from your buddy. Earn achievements and bonus points to improve your point total and your ranking.

Guitar Hero has nothing on this six stringed, side scrolling, guitar game. Six String is a guitar playing game in which the player strums the strings of a guitar in order to complete each song.But it is much more than a Guitar Hero/Rock Band game. Tapping games and the iPhone go together extremely well. The great screen and awesome responsiveness make for a great platform to jam to some music while on the go. We've seen plenty of tap music games flow through the store with the most popular of the genre being the Tap Tap series. Six-String is an app that is looking to take the genre to new levels and challenge the user who may have found the other games to be a little too easy. Not only will users have to tap bubbles that come from the side of the screen, they will also have to strum the strings by drawing their finger across the screen. Really like this game. The best thing about it is that you are really playing the guitar with the songs! It's not just about tapping to the rhythm, this is about notes, chords, chord changes, etc, just the way you would play it on a guitar. This takes the music game thing to the next level of the game.
