Amazing Game!
Whosatm 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
It's a new concept that works well. I may have to get more line drawing games now.
Not anything like a Parade themed Pac-Man!
Lord Gek 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
I grabbed it last night and am loving it so far. Don't light its fluffy sounding subject matter fool you, this is a pretty tough game! The concept couldn't be simpler. You have a scrolling map of the city of Quebec, which just so happens to be (for the sake of the game) like some giant Pac-Man maze (all one lane roads with 90 degree turns) and your mission is threefold: 1) Entertaining the crowds. 2) Joining floats together. 3) Keeping floats from colliding into one another (one crash and the game is over). You start with your single head float (looks like a train) and simply by passing by any of the crowds you'll receive a point. You control his route by tapping and dragging a line from him through the streets ahead of him (it can be a bit tricky to do this at first and you have to be careful when routing around corners as it is easy to just cut the route off right there). Soon after starting, however, you'll be alerted to other floats entering the map. You can route these floats anywhere you want as well but having them pass by crowds on their own won't score you any points. Your mission with these newly arriving guys is to simply join them together. You join floats by drawing a path from the front of any float to the back of another. You'll know you've setup a connection when the route changes from its normal white path to yellow and the car joining up suddenly speeds up to many times its normal speed and links itself to the chain. Every train added to a chain is worth a point. You can chain those incoming stragglers together, or better yet, chain them onto your growing main float (any floats connected to the head float) for the game's big points. Joining trains to the head float only gains you a single point but the big points kick in when you pass the crowds as you'll receive points equal to the number of floats in your main chain when you pass them. So that lowly 1 point for passing a crowd with your head float all on its own is now worth 6 points if you are dragging some 5 floats behind you. While this all sounds so simple, as these float chains get longer and more floats starts roaming about the map it gets harder to keep them all under control. While you can direct all of the floats in the game you can't ever ask them to stop or turn around in their lane, they can only move forward. Also you can only link a float to the back end of another float, coming in from the side, or trying to line yourself up with the back of a float already in a chain will result in a crash ending the game. Also realize that you are responsible for all floats on the map and once things get more crowded you need to ensure that none of the newly arriving floats accidentally bump into one another (even if off screen and all the way across town from your main float).
Fun line drawing game!
CzarCastic 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
Parade is a fun addition to the line drawing genre. I really like the art style and the gameplay is smooth. However I do find myself dragging the lines too far because the map scrolls too fast at times. I look forward to playing some more and I'm sure the game will keep a place on my iPhone for some time to come. I really like the icon too!
Good stuff

Wow. I love this game so freaking much. First of all, the graphics are great! I love them, and I wish more games had this art style. But really, Parade is just too much fun. An original line drawing game that is completely different from any other I've ever played. It takes a little getting used to when you're drawing the float's path though, but when you get past that, you'll be hooked for a long long time.
A simple yet challenging game.

Just looking at the screenshots and it looks similar to other games of this type. But this app really is rather unique. A well thought out game, that will is quite challenging, Good fun for $2.
Challenging connect-the-floats game
Secondtime 4.0 stars Version: 1.0
Line drawing game where you connect floats together to form a parade. One interesting aspect is the gameboard is larger than the screen, so you need to tap on the indicators or scroll the map to get to the floats that are being indicated. The floats are small, but as you link them together, the length gets quite long and it gets much harder to avoid collisions. The floats only go "forward" so you must plan your route around corners, etc. Nice graphics, floats are a little small until you link them, but the animations are very nicely done. Good choice for someone who likes challenging line drawing games.
Parade, straight-forward fun.
Rich_952000 4.0 stars Version: 1.0
Yes, Parade is a "line-drawing" game, much in the way of Flight Control etc.. but it has it's own culture and characteristics setting it apart from the rest. You are given a head float and a decent sized town to strut your stuff:) The goal is to please the crowds by passing in front of them with the biggest float-train possible. Not such a simple task when other floats are entering town in many locales and you, being parade conductor, are charged with getting each float in line behind the head float, not to forget coordinating the main float route. Frantic fun by Frima, I recommend this to fans of the genre and should mention the game has global leaderboards.
