hysteris project is actually project H-001, it alters the 5 senses of a living thing to create total madness, it scares the being by making it think something or someone is trying to kill it, the results are death from a heart attack. i finnished the game and got this from coyles office.

i cant make it out of the house everytime i click an option it crashes, please FIX!

It is good except it tells u wat direction to turn. If u notice there will be the hysteria H by the direction u have to go

... But done in 15-20 minutes. I don't understand why this was released when there is so little content. $1.99? Why so much? I could only hope that the rest of the story is free... That's the negatives... The positives are simple. It's fun, like an interactive movie. I had quite a bit of fun with this, though short lived as it was. Before you download, wait till the next one comes out. If the continuation is free then I definately recommend it. If not... Then this is a big rip off.

I was skeptical at first but it. Is just amazing! It is short but it's obviously quality vs quanity. I can't wait for the next release to come out. And you can play it more than once. And to all the haters out there what more do you expect it's a handheld game! it is marvelous!

Okay, seriously - good idea, poor execution. The "choices" you make are random guesses, and if you screw up the last one in a long series... guess what. You get to start all over - and the material doesn't get any better on the 4th or 5th watch through. Would be a 3 or even a 4 star game though if they actually updated it. As it is, it's been taking up space for a little too long, and I suspect I'll end up deleting it before they ever get around to uploading the next chapter.

The game was pretty amazing. I wish it was cheaper. I'm not Bill Gates ya know!

I died once but I got captured another time and got away pretty weird very cool. I like how u can choose different ways without killing u. There's no one way of winning. Very mysterious!!

The camera moves to much in this game! It gave me a headache and made me feel like I had to barf! 

i think he died. i did it with a bomb. i cant wait until the next one!!!

This game made me scared as crap,I love this game and the creators of this app did a great job. If you want a game that is extremely heart racing you should get this,this is worth 6$

i think it was a fun game but not worth it becuse it was to short they should have put more in to it. i beat it in about 30 mins and thats not long for me.

Great idea but rly short.. And i wish more choices were given & less dead-ends.. Then i'd give it 5 stars.

This was supposed to be a continually updated game. I purchased it almost a month ago, and still no updates. The game is very short, yet says, "to be continued". Well, good thing I didn't hold my breath. :P

This game could have been really good but the wait to continue is a big disappontment. Save your money.

Very nice idea... remembers me about "The Blair Witch Project" and here you can be the first person player hunted by some maniac. Nice to play once but doesn't seem to be interesting to play twice.

Games scary. But you die fast and have to repeat stuff. But it keeps u interested.

Great game and the start of manynew games like it? Needs new maps and more environments. The tree map is a map of which roads to take. So it's like right, right, left, right. But awesome game. Playing it loud and at night is scary!!!

The only two words that can describe this game. Although this heart pounding game was a blast to beat I have some problems. One is that the game is too noob oriented, when your on that one part with the road the H's are up for long enough to see the detail; it should hve just been a quick pop up or maybe another clue because the giant H's on the ground are too obvious. Second issue (probably my biggest) no clear story, so you wake up in a house with an axe wielding physco-path stalking you, that's great, but who am I? Where was I when I was kidnapped (someback ground info would be nice it doesn't have to be super elaborate). Third issue is that the application lacks choices, it's very in depth, don't get me wrong; but all the choices eventually lead on one path, (SPOILER ALERT) maybe instead of blowing that guy up we could get a knife and cut him or play dead, adding different approaches in the game gives better replayibility. My last issue is length, yes I know there are gonna be more 'episodes' but like 30 minutes of gameplay with absolutly no reason to replay it is a game im not sure is worth buying, but the suspense in this game aswell as the low price tag makes it a great app to buy if you have the money but if you would rather have a game that would last awhile this isn't what you want. Sorry if it seems I hate this app, I don't but people havnt been going into detail about the flaws of this app.

Kinda reminds me of those goosebumps story things. Also, it would be great if you made part two an update aside from a whole new game. That way, no one will complain about wasting money or its too short. More of a storyline would be nice though, like who this psyco with an axe is.

This game is intense at first then it's the same thing over and over again so it gets to be really boring after like 15 minutes...I don't recommend on buying this game...

Is there a plot or a point? Rather simple, very few choices, finished in one try and took about 10 minutes. Getting radio was only half way difficult part.

It's really good, I thought it was going to be longer... Took maybe 30 minutes to complete, after failing a couple times... It should be only 99 cents though, other than that it's good

Hysteria Project is a good scare. However there is only one path to the end of the game. Once youve seen it, the scare is gone.

Very fun game, glad I bought it! It's like a "choose your adventure" book without the need for immagination, I highly enjoyed it, looking forward to the next one!

Take seb_p's comment into consideration, it is very helpful. It is very important for the game to have multiple outcomes so that replayability is high.

I bought this game as soon as it release on the appstore, but always crashed at the startup screen, I'm using an iPod 2G. Now here is the solution: change your device language to English, then enjoy the game! Hope the developer can fix this in the next update.Thanks!

Waaaaaay to short, I beat the game in 30 min and with no alternate endings there is no point to play it again. Great concept, well executed, not worth $2. For .99 cents I would rate 4 stars but like I said, waaaaay to short. Wait for a price drop.

Filled with fun and suspense! Easy to pick up and play, hard to put it down until you finish it. This is Sega CD FMV gameplay all over again, and with the iPod Touch and iPhone its better than ever! Forget what the review sites say, this game is worth playing through no matter who you are.

I guess some of the people who write these reviews are easily thrilled. At the end of the game you are left wanting more.... Not because it is so good. It's because the game is so short. Extremely disappointing!

This app keeps you in suspence all the time, but it's too short and the ending isn't clear to me

I experienced a lot of crashes. The game was also VERY short, I played through in about half an hour! Hopefully the "To be Cobtinued" suggests more chapters, otherwise I would have to rate a 1 out of 5...

I love this game! It is the best game of app on the app store!!!! It's the greatest thing ever! Great concept... very cool premise. Updates of extra chapters/choices are the only thing preventing it from being 5 starts IMO.

What makes this game so great is the sense of always being hunted by someone or something.....and unravling the mystry of whats happining

I got it at 10 at night and played it until midnight. This game scared the bejeesus out of me for the whole 2 hours! Great game, great scare, worth the 2 dollars!

And I'm surprised at how foolish people are sometimes... The only reasonable range for any app Is from .99-$5.00 and no higher (FYI: Apple is considering charging more so watch out for "premium" more expensive apps coming soon because People are willing to pay unfortunately)

Absoloutly amazing. If you like soul trap then this is a must buy.

Yeah Its good. Genuine horror with good atmosphere. I dont know how much replay value it has after your first playthrough though.

For a game sold as something supposed to evolve by user-defined choises, and be a "groundbreaking gaming experience", it does a poor job. While, if you're hazardously making the right choices during the manhunt, you might have the impression that the game indeed has multiple scenarios, and you're inside one of them that *you* provoked, in reality it does not. It becomes annoyingly clear when/if you take a bad decicion, and immediately it just won't go further, or takes you to a sure death. So you just retry, choose the opposite, and you're good to go. At that moment you come to feel just like a spectator that finally has *no choice* at all, and whatever small suspense the game provided is lost forever. It becomes redundant *very* quickly. It's also extremely heavy on over-compressed video (+100Mb) and not very subtle with transitions (that break further the ambience). Once finished (mine took 30min.) there's no reason to ever play it again, and given that it's a multi episode game, there's of course no real ending. One can argue that for it's price it delivers, but that will come down to opinions ; mine is that even though the effort shows, it just is not a good game. And that for any price...
