When I think of TAITO, I still think of playing Sky Shark on my old PC running DOS in the mid 80′s. It’s pretty amazing that the company that guided my airplane obsession as a youth is now pumping out great iPhone games in the 21st century. Ok, enough of my childhood memories, on to the game sale! SPACE INVADERS INFINITY GENE – Now $2.99 SPACE INVADERS INFINITY GENE was on many app of the year shortlists last year, and is still a mainstay on my iPhone a year and a half later. This afternoon I met with the guys from Taito outside of the west hall of E3. Unsurprisingly, they have quite a bit on their plate right now both between updating their existing games, releasing new ones, and promoting an odd array of Space Invader themed utilities. Originally I was rather confused, both wondering why Taito would release these utilities and who would download them... Then I realized exactly who would download them-- The army of people with severe Space Invader fetishes like our own Blake Patterson. These utilities all have been done before, but never with a Space Invaders theme. They're all free, and the calculator is actually pretty cool with various easter eggs if whatever you're calculating results in certain special numbers such as 1978, 41, and 10 others. They all include various advertisements for Taito games, and there is a 99¢ version of the calculator that strips these ads.

Cooking Mama has officially been ported to the iPhone and the iPod Touch. Now you can cook over a dozen different meals(full meals), or have a cooking contest with about the same amount of actions(cut, chop, fry, etc). Chop, Cut, Fry, and do all of the things you would do on your Wii or NDS). The game has been adapted by iPhone controls so when you have to flip the burger you literally make the motion with the iPhone just as if you were holding the frying pan. Like everyone else who bought this app, when I first saw Cooking Mama I was so excited that I instantly bought it. Tht was a HUGE mistake. This is a waste of $7. Honestly the DS version is way better. I really wish I read the reviews before purchasing this app because the reviews are exactly right

"Mamma" Mia! I'm disappointed! I agree with Williams98. mixing is way to hard. And I always fail that! :-( I also agree with the MANY (how many? I lost count) people that say: MORE MEALS!!!!!! There should at least be 40 meals to make. But, 15? Dare I call that right? No! This game does no justice to the real game on the DS. The price is to much. Please! As I speak for many disappointed customers ($6.99 for 15 meals= disgrace) we need and want more meals. Then I will give this application 5 stars, and recommend it to everyone! I do appreciate the time and effort this company put in this game. So, props to you.

Cooking Mama is a great game were you cook different foods and Mama rates them out of 100 or you try to complete all the mini-games in the Cooking Contest Mode. People complain that it's sort, but I actually think it's not that short. Some recepies are too easy though and some are too hard. Overall it's a really good game!

I played this game on my friend's ndsl and I thought it was a great game, so I bought on itunes. But there are only 15 items in this game rather than 50 items on ndsl. I am extremely disappointed by this. And I don't think such game worth 6.99.

this game is fantastic, the DS version (cooking mama 2) was amazing and this version is almost amazing. this utilizes the accelerometer which makes it slightly harder to control than the DS. also, the different motion used in this game can be a bit tricky since you're using a finger and not a tiny stylus. so if a few tweaks are made to make it perfect, then it'll be five star worthy. also, they could add a few more dishes to make it worth the $7. overall, if you liked the DS game, it's worth a buy. and if u want to try a fun game, buy it.

I'm VERY impressed. After games like Super Monkey Ball failing to control and play well, I was amazed how faithful this game is to the console versions! It's like having the ds game but with wii controls AND touch controls. Best of both worlds!!!

I should have read the reviews before buying this game, but I was so excited for there to be a cooking mama game that I didn't even look. There are only fifteen recipies and the controlls don't always respond like you would expect them to. This is NOT worth the money and I feel like wasting seven dollars on it was a big mistake! I wish it included the actual recipes. It is very short, hopefully more recipes will be added with an update. It's fun but not worth the price because of the length of gameplay.

Good, fun. Needs more things 2 cook, I mastered them all in like 20 minutes. Super fun, but not as good as the DS game. I would reccomed. Also, lower the price
