I can't believe how much weather data is packed into this app! I've go almost a dozen weather apps and none of them has the kind of info that this app has. I can now see what the record cold and hot temps are for just about anywhere I want! I even have detailed info on snow and rainfall average and record amounts which none of other apps has. I'm a weather watcher and do a lot of outdoor hikes so this app will definitely make it easier for me to figure out when and where to go.An added plus of this app is that because Google maps are not used in the state search feature you don't need a network connection to search any of the stations in the database. This along with the fact that you can quickly identify which stations have record event and cloud data makes this a great user interface feature (contrary to what a previous reviewer mentioned with regards to using state maps instead of using searchable text lists)! Thank you guys for creating something that I can really use!

Very cool and handy application. It helps me prepare much better so I pack what I need/don't need to bring on a business trip. It actually saved me the $3.99 a few times over all ready as I didn't have to buy me a jacket or shorts at destination. Also, I can prepare my kids outdoor activities much better when at home.

This is a very handy app! I was planning to take my family to San Diego this coming January to see Marine World but wasn't sure how rainy or cold it would be then. After checking the detailed climate info using this app I discovered that the max temps in January are about 65F with only a half-dozen days of measurable rain for the entire month. This is better weather than I expected. :) I just booked the flight and my kids are jumping up and down now!

I love travelingl to new places, but never know what to pack! A couple years back, my husband and I went on an Alaskan cruise through the inside passage. Never having been to Alaska, I packed clothes based on my stereotype of Alaska - breezy and cold. I couldn't have been more wrong!! I packed sweaters and thermal under clothes. Turned out Ketchican, Juneau, and the other places we visited were experiencing a heatwave - high 90's!. By chance I packed one pair of shorts to be worn inside the ship while cruising. Turns out those shorts were worn at every port we visited! With Climate Whiz Pro, I can find out the extreme temperatures possible before leaving my house. I especially like how I can "drill down" on specific cities to get a wide variety of average and extreme measurements. Side note: It's fun to randomly look up data around the country to see the wide variation of climate conditions that make up our country. You can know that my next travel adventure will begin with a visit to Climate Whiz Pro!

The app has great information. However it should allow you to go to a state map and already see all the stations available in map location format. Instead you have to pick out city by city in a text format.
